Subtronics’ Cyclops Desert 2025 was nothing short of a spectacle. A moment in time where the sound of the bass pulses through your body, your eyes dance with visuals and lasers, negativity fades away, and you're surrounded by hundreds of others feeling that same peace, energy, and beat.

This was an incredible event, a true treat for Arizona, as the perfectly curated lineup created an atmosphere that is difficult to replicate. Between Subtronics’ special two-day performance and highlights from bass-heavy colleagues like INZO, Alleycvt, Basstripper, and more, there were good vibes all around.

The Subtronics Effect

Whether you’ve seen Subtronics live a dozen times or this was your first, one thing is clear about his sets: his passion, production, mixing skills, and love for his fans and music is perfectly translated in the happiness he exudes. His ability to create such an infectious atmosphere is a key reason he's becoming one of the biggest names in bass EDM.

The Venue

Despite hosting only one stage, Subtronics’ Cyclops Desert never had any downtime. With exceptional talent playing one right after the other, there was no need to rush from one set to another. The venue featured a massive three-tiered display system, separate sound systems for the crowds further back, fireworks, fire displays, and of course, lasers. Relentless Beats and Subtronics spared no expense in enhancing the spectacle that was Cyclops Desert.

For those who splurged a little extra, VIP access provided elevated viewing decks, front-row pit access, VIP bathrooms, and much-needed space away from the crowds. The stage, production, and viewing access were incredible and absolutely worth the upgrade—though more seating and food options would be a welcome addition.

The Performances

Subtronics

Riddim, drum & bass, flips, unreleased IDs—Subtronics put the crowd through the ringer, playing a little bit of everything. He even shared on social media, "I'M HAVING AN EXTREMELY HARD TIME DECIDING WHICH SONGS ARE MAKING THE CUT EACH NIGHT FOR ARIZONA SO I'M GONNA NEED U TO COME TO BOTH SETS THANK U." And he wasn’t wrong, delivering a devastating performance full of surprises.

Alleycvt

From surprise flips to fresh tracks, Alleycvt’s energy was contagious, solidifying her place as a rising star in the bass scene. Her set was a testament to her growth as an artist, showcasing her technical skill, raw emotion, and authentic connection with the crowd.

INZO

Floating, happy, and tranquil, INZO knows how to guide a crowd. His set at Cyclops Desert was a mesmerizing journey through ambient soundscapes, creating a calming yet energizing experience. The seamless blend of downtempo beats and uplifting, atmospheric vibes balanced serenity and intensity. INZO even introduced sound therapy, gently guiding the crowd into a trance-like state with smooth synths and intricate melodies for a truly floaty experience.

Basstripper

Since 2015, Belgium drum & bass producer Basstripper has been igniting the scene, and now on his North American tour, it’s clear why he’s breaking out. Premiering new IDs, he showcased his unique sound and proved why he's becoming a menace in the DnB scene. If you’re not a fan yet, his new track ‘Cascade’ will change that.

From the performances to the production, Subtronics’ Cyclops Desert 2025 was an absolute success. The core memories held—whether it was making new friends, knowing exactly where you were when your favorite ID dropped, or trading bracelets, and inspecting them the next day—are exactly what these events are all about. Thank you to Relentless Beats and Subtronics for the opportunity and the rock-solid production.

Subtronics, we’re already counting down to part two!
